Our Mission

Chicago has fewer major influencers and content creators than a city like LA, NY, or SF. Everyone looks at that fact and writes us off as a city that can never become a true creator hub. We disagree. We believe that even if we have fewer influencers & content creators we can build a central network of resources, relationships, and opportunities for serious content creators in our city; a watering hole for creators, of sorts.

The tight connections of an organization like this can make up for our lack of a large quantity of influencers and provide the same level of creator activity and infrastructure to support a legitimate creator hub. But this watering hole must be exclusively for influencers & content creators who are legit and already established. There are many communities for creatives in Chicago. However, there are no communities solely for established influencers & creators. That is the void that we seek to fill.

Meet Renowned's Founders

Andrew Gunderman & Madison Jade

Andrew Gunderman and Madison Jade are the duo behind Renowned Chicago. Andrew is an entrepreneur who, at age 21, raised venture capital and dropped out of college to build a company, later selling another company at 23. Madison, a young Latina entrepreneur, co-founded Renowned Chicago at 20 while also launching a company focused on residential real estate content creation. Together, they've built two of the top communities for CEOs and entrepreneurs as well as for local influencers and creatives in the Midwest, hosting both private and public events with celebrities, professional athletes, influencers, elected government officials, and business leaders. Their combined efforts have attracted thousands of attendees nationwide and secured hundreds of thousands in sponsorship. Andrew was recognized on the Inno 25 Under 25 list for 2023 and has been seen in Entrepreneur, Forbes, Inno Magazine, and others.

Founded in 2024, Renowned Chicago has quickly become the city's official community for digital creators, influencers, comedians, and celebrities. Everything we do is free and our intention is purely to act as the central hub of resources, relationships, opportunities, and more for influencers & content creators in Chicago.

How It Works

We host events specifically for content creators, comedians, actors, influencers, musicians, and any other career where you make significant amounts of content. We curate our guestlists extensively and will turn away anyone who is not invited or who doesn't meet our audience criteria. We have a strict no-selling policy, since our goal is to create relationships between creators in a safe space. We also don't host events for creators who are early in their creative journey - we are a community specifically for established creators. There is no specific criteria for what an "established creator" is, but we look for creators who are consistently creating content and who have an established audience (typically at least in the 20k-30k range, but that's not a hard rule).

All of our events are strictly invite-only, and we aim for every guest to have a personal relationship with Andrew & Madison. We'll take you out for coffees, dinners, help connect you to opportunities where we can, and just generally be there for you as a resource.

We don't focus on quantity, we focus on quality. People who are sketchy, salesy, or clout chasing will be excluded immediately. Every guest at our events is personally vetted and known by Andrew & Madison. We are not a business or agency, we are a free community & don't make money off of our events.
